A Still Room Wedding at Journeyman Distillery
If someone really loves you
they will walk in the rain with you.
Maybe even play
in the puddles.
It rained. From sun-up to sun-down and even into the night. But the thing I remember most about this Journeyman Distillery wedding wasn't the rain: it was the love, the carefree attitudes, the cheers-ing and the dancing, the baby holding and tight hugs from friends.
Katie & Cody were married in the Still Room of Journeyman Distillery in New Buffalo. They played off the rustic warehouse feel of the space with lots of gorgeous greenery & wildflowers and added special accents like plane placeholders (Cody is a pilot!). With the heavy rain, we spent an intimate day all together in this space ~ moving tables and crowding around the bar and creating a make-shift aisle for Katie to walk down.
I felt a great deal of love on this day, and I'm so thankful Katie and Cody invited me along to be blip on their amazing journey together. They are both incredibly laid-back, and I appreciate the trust they gave me in capturing their wedding day. I also was able to work with some amazing vendors in Southwest Michigan, and all their information is located at the end of the blog.
In the meantime, sit back, cozy up, and scroll away.
