Camp Blodgett Wedding on the shores of Lake Michigan

I love you -- and that's the beginning and end of everything.

I have been loving on this family since 2016 when Nicole and Ben were married along Lake Michigan in Holland. And this summer, it was my greatest pleasure to photograph Claudia & Brian's Camp Blodgett wedding. The sisters shared similar days: rainy mornings & surrounded by people who adored them.

Claudia and Brian chose to do a First Look, and it gave the entire day such a chill vibe. We'd do a little picture-taking, engage in some conversation, keep the bridal party hydrated (with their drink of choice), and get all the planned stuff out of the way before their guests arrived.

Their ceremony will be memorable to them for years~ exchanging vows on the deck of Camp Blodgett with Lake Michigan's shore lapping waves behind them & little itty bitty red bugs eating them alive. 😂 Their close friend also officiated the ceremony which gives such a personal feel to the their day and usual lots of laugh for the audience! Then throughout the night, guests trickled in and out of the Camp Hall and danced away on the deck and let's be honest, I'd relive this day with the rain & the bugs over and over again if it meant I got to spend it with these people!
