Winter Wedding at Cheney Place

so I close my eyes to old ends.
and open my heart to new beginnings.

--

It was a snowy day in December, and we all felt cozy and in love watching these two say "I love you." Weddings don't need to be extravagant to be grand. Amy and Andy celebrated their love in my favorite ways: surrounded by a small gathering of people, eating brunch (waffles! eggs! pastries!), and hosting it all at The Cheney Place.

Amy and I had chatted months ago about their planning process, and I had been looking forward to their wedding day with such anticipation. Intimate weddings are my favorite; they remind me most of the qualities I love about my own marriage. I only spent three hours with Amy and Andy alongside their guests on their wedding day, but I left feeling a gratefulness for new beginnings. Thank you for your love and for sharing it with me!

As always, the fabulous team of vendors is listed down below. Be sure to keep scrolling for more portraits of these lovebirds as well as details from their blush, cream, and gold themed reception!

Congratulations, Amy & Andy – on both their wedding day & an exciting New Year of love!
