2019 in Review, 100 Moments

“It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine.”

- A.A. Milne

I've always been aware of the brevity of life. It was one of the reasons why I pursued photography. The stories that family albums tell is incomparable to anything else, and I happily spend my weekends with couples who appreciate this truth as well. In December, I lost someone incredibly important to me -- every video, every picture I have of her is irreplaceable.I give 100% because I personally understand that you will only walk away from your wedding day with the memories in your head and the pictures on my camera. Like the photos I carry close to my heart of those I have lost, your photos too are exceptional. They should be taken and trusted to a professional (as my best friend Ryan Inman would say) who gives a damn. I am humbled by the people that have chosen to invest in photography & understand the value this service holds for their future.

SO WITH THAT,

THANK YOU to my treasured clients who laugh at my lame jokes, trust my artistic vision, let me high-five kids and lend an arm to grandparents, invite me to be part of their memories even when I cry during their ceremony, and my favorite: giving me an all-access pass to the dance floor where YOU KNOW my 90's boy-bands dance moves come out.

THANK YOU to my second-shooters for this year (Rachel Kaye and Stefanie Irene) and the primary photographers who hired me to assist them. And a special shout-out to those who helped carry me emotionally at the tail end of this year: Andrea, Rachel, Ryan, and Liv.

2020 is already looking all sorts of crazy (I'm talking about you, September!). Per usual, I didn’t blog as much this year because (insert excuse), BUT I have a full queue from 2019 weddings & perhaps a mini-sessions announcement coming in late Spring!

In the meantime, stay warm and stay in love. Cheers to a New Year!

Pssst! If you made it all the way to bottom of this post and are inquiring about wedding services, mention this text & I'll give you 10% off your wedding package. Offer valid on all 2020 wedding packages & for a limited time!
