I mentioned in my last post how I like to fill up empty summer weekends: with assisting other photographers in their sessions! Same photographer, different location; and we always have a blast! The Morris Estate sits nestled in Southwest Michigan in the small town of Niles. Their Chapel — white, neat, and holding onto all its historical charm — is the perfect place to tie the knot. Wendy & Joe were married on a warm September day that began with rain, was sustained by love and summer sun, and ended with the twinkling of party lights.
Nothing gets me more excited than a pair of Badgley Mischkas & a gorgeous gown…
First Looks allow for an extended amount of portrait time…not to mention one-in-a-lifetime moments between just you & your beloved.
I’m loving the appearance of succulents this year! Wendy’s bouquet had such a gorgeous array of florals, and it suited their day perfectly.
Happy! Happy! Oh, to finally be Mr. & Mrs.! <3
Their sweet love was so pronounced after the ceremony. My favorite few moments of the day.
// overjoyed to be with you. //
We were worried all morning if the tent would dry out from the morning rain, and oh my — everything came together just as it should.
First Dances. Quiet Moments.
And into the night, we celebrate! Together — with selfie-sticks and laughter and cool drinks.
Happy Wedding Day! To Joe & Wendy: thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding team! You are so wonderfully suited to love each other well, and I’m sending more and more virtual congratulations your way.
