Social media networks have been divided all day. Team Valentine. Team Commercial-Holiday-Haters. I personally don’t like confrontation, so I’ve stayed on the side of Team Chocolate because not only is it tasty, but its common happy ground for everyone. It’s Switzerland, basically. Except for those that are lactose-intolerant. And if you’re one of those reading this, I am so very, very sorry.

Adam’s always been the romantic. In fact, he’s never really needed one special day to tell me how he feels. We’re into that sort of everyday love, buying flowers “just because,” and and giving cards that say I love you simply because we do. We love each other.
I suppose we celebrate just about every Hallmark holiday because since we found each other, we’ll find any excuse to shout our love from the roof-tops or whisper it on soft pillow-tops…regardless if its Valentine’s Day or next Tuesday.

Adam, for the past five years you’ve been my Valentine. You are the best man I’ve ever known. I’d be lost without your patience, your strength, and your compassion. Thank you for being my Valentine. And I can’t wait to document and witness so much more love with you this year. I love you.
