We met with Lauren and Tyler on a drizzly day in April at the local coffee-shop. These two teachers met in the school halls and bonded over wild athletic adventures. They were smart and caring in love, and honestly? A Holland wedding in August? Divine. Let’s dive in!
The ladies had their hair & make-up done at Salon Cheveux in downtown Holland. I loved how everything in their day stayed local not only because I love our community, but the ease of traveling (walking!) really cuts down on anything going awry.
A quick little walk to the Chapel…
Dusty roses & succulents just had me smitten all day!
THAT LOOK.
GAAAH; HE’S GONNA MARRY HER! ; )
Churches with balconies or stairs or sound booths — doesn’t matter! I love to be in them!
We stopped only for a moment at Howard B Dunton Park for a few portraits and a little trip to the dock.
The perfect venue and event? A Holland Armory Wedding.
We’ve never photographed at this location, but like all things Holland, the architecture outside is just glorious.
Cheers to many years! :clink:
Romantic first dances without a care in the world. These are the best moments of the day. You’re married. You can relax and dance and drink and dine in each others arms for the rest of your lives.
Did I mention dance? OH BECAUSE THEY DID THAT.
Another balcony, so YES. Also, THANK YOU for live bands.
May your life be filled with as much love and excitement as your wedding day, Lauren and Tyler!
