As I said in my latest blog post, I have been loving this down-time from shooting that allows me to tell love stories through all these glorious wedding day photographs. Remember Marisa and Clint‘s sweet country engagement from the beginning of the year? The boot-wearin’ (those are still here!), gigglin’, all sort of “I love you” sayin’? YEP; they’re here today! Marisa and her dearest ladies (including two adorable littles!) spent their morning getting all dolled up at Heidi Christine’s Spa & Salon. I loved how unique Marisa’s hair was curled and twisted into a gorgeous up-do. Even at 11AM, she was already making a stunning bride. ; )
Hi there, pretty lady.
Every pretty lady deserves a handsome man.
…with a shoe polishing kit, no less.
I love when my brides truly anticipate marrying their groom…especially when it shows in the details. About a week before my own wedding, I remember furiously scouring Etsy.com for someone who could design and ship a customized hanger. The story ended happily, and I have lovely pictures and a quality hanger for everything special. Needless to say, I do so love my brides…and I’m so happy to photograph the teeniest of details.
love! love! love!
Ever since I first saw Marisa’s engagement ring, I’ve adored the simplicity, the elegance. I guess you could say they planned their wedding accordingly! ; )
YAY for First Looks! : ) …even better when they’re outdoor and the bride is wearing a cathedral veil! squeee!
Mmm, perfection.
I’d say so, wouldn’t you?
…a few quiet moments before walking down the aisle.
Precious moments filled with sweet anticipation at the becoming of one. Such blessings found in marriage!

my ideal.<3
Those boots were made for walking…through a parade of laughter, congratulations, and BUBBLES!
Adam and I always adore spending our time with the newly married bride & groom. And why wouldn’t we when they’re this adorable?!
<3
what little girls dream of.
…and I’m sure what boys would consider a pretty “cool” girl (minus the cooties).
After some pictures and time in the limo, the bridal party arrived at one of my favorite venues with exceptional service: the Grand Volute Ballrooms.
Their elegant reception had just enough country to match their cowboy boots! ; ) Love mason jars and hand-cut wood slats.
I love when my husband Adam gets creative! Not only did he capture another view of Marisa & Clint, he also caught their guests admiring (and me — professionally photobombing!).
We all know that once these sweet dances begin…
…the party soon follows!
Happy Wedding Day! Happy Love! You two have been such fun to work with since that blustery winter day last January.
Adam and I wish you all the joy and happiness; and every blessing on the memories you continue to make in your new life as husband and wife! Enjoy the memories! We surely will!<3
xo, the Burnetts.
