Kara and Kelly share a special history at Camp Geneva (I shared with their sneak peek), so there was no decision-making as to where they wanted their engagement pictures taken. The grounds are huge, and we had beach access, a huge forrest, tree-houses, and pretty bridges that we visited during our time together.
These two attend Hope College, and I’m honored to photograph students from my alma mater! We connect in a way that not all clients + photographers can connect with our shared passion of such an outstanding place of learning.
We cozied up by the fire for a little while, and I love…
…how these two just simply intertwine without any urging of my own. They meld together, and I think its such a beautiful representation of the union they’ll be officially making this coming summer!
See? Oh, the little things.
Kara is a giggler at just about everything. She is a joy to be around, and you can visibly see how Kelly enjoys to be around his bride-to-be!
Kara’s sister (who was in my Hope College graduating class!) spent some time in Guatemala putting her fabulous nursing skills (and loving-people skills) to use. She brought Kara back this blanket and it definitely came in handy during our chilly session!
But with these two, you’d never feel the cold. Our hearts are warm, and their friendship and love they’ve found in each other simply radiates.
You are sweet like sugar, and we can’t get enough! We are thrilled to photograph your wedding in seven short months! It’ll be fabulous!
