A common excuse for not taking family portraits is time. You have to take the time to schedule the session. Plan the outfits. Coordinate times with a photographer. And of course, the session itself. But, my friends, THIS: 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes and a tight schedule, but they made this maternity photography session work and captured these last few weeks together as a family of three. Time is precious, so its important to invest it in the things that matter. And this family? They have got that down pat.
The middle of March & 40* — Kyrsten, Spencer, and Olive were troopers for their Lake Michigan mini-session! The Lake was the most gorgeous blue, and the love Spencer & Krysten have for each other is so evident that its no wonder it’s multiplied…they’re expecting their little girl in just a few weeks! <3
Toes in the sand and smiles on their faces!
This sequence is my favorite! Intimate and beautiful, and I’m thankful I was there to witness it.
To be honest, I rarely schedule sessions mid-day because of working in the bright sun, but I am overjoyed with how this session turned out! It’s bright & beautiful, and such a fantastic herald to the new life about to enter the world!
Yaaaaas! Favorite! <3
Oh, you three. I am so thrilled for you & your family as you step into this next adventure! Wishing you love and happiness and all the best as you hold these next few weeks so close and welcome this new blessing!
