Emily + Jesse :: Bear Lake, Muskegon Wedding

We only have two more weddings to shoot this year, and we’ve been so blessed with amazing couples this season!  Emily and Jesse were married on Bear Lake this past August on a gorgeous summer day as sunbeams danced joyfully around them and their guests.

Emily’s alfred angelo wedding gown was gorgeous with her flowing train, cap sleeves, and intricate waist design.

I might’ve wanted to put a coin in the slot machine in the room where the ladies were getting ready just to win it big to see if it was working…but, I restrained because I had the privilege of photographing the beautiful bride!

…and that sweet little baby bump. 🙂

Emily’s father passed away before her wedding, but she kept him close to her with his wedding ring tied to her bouquet.

So…Jesse might’ve had his own mega-cool entourage. 😉

TOTALLY tried peeking up to his bride in the picture on the right (don’t worry, Emily, I got your back!).

“Love Always, Emmy. 8-25-12”

…and pretty soon, we had a wedding to attend.

Emily and Jesse opted not to see each before the ceremony and have the momentum build until Emily first appeared — in all her beauty — at the end of their wedding aisle.

See?  Stunning.

Emily had her brother walk her down the aisle, and we loved this emotional hug as he gave her hand to Jesse.

*Mr. & Mrs.*

Obsessed with Emily and Jesse’s color palette :: lavender + soft pinks.  And her bouquet?  Love!

After the ceremony, Adam and I snuck away for just a couple minutes along the shoreline with the newly married couple.  I loved this shot of Adam’s of how Jesse is loving on his baby (and Mama).

Every now and then, we’ll take a picture that may not be technically correct with white balance and or exposure, but the emotion here in this photo exceeds any technical flaw.  And I’m in love.

While Emily and Jesse prepared for their entrance to the reception, Adam and I loved capturing every little detail perfectly themed to their special day.

As soon as Emily and Jesse were announced, they were whisked right into their first dance.

Oh, don’t mind me just swooning over the romance…

After dinner (which was amazingly delicious, by the way), we snuck inside for the bride & groom to feed each these yummy cupcakes.

As the night continued and the stars began to peek through the navy sky, friends and family laughed and gathered celebrating love.

And what better way to celebrate than with a sparkler send-off?!  SO.MUCH.FUN!

We enjoyed our evening meeting and greeting family and friends, and we wish you two many MANY blessings on your new married journey and with your sweet baby that who be arriving soon. 🙂

Thank you for letting Adam and I document a beautiful chapter in your lives!
